    I honestly don't understand. How can a multi-billion dollar company which only exists because of the talented, passionate artists they employ - decide after hitting an all time high because of their work - to lay off nearly 800 of those people that brought that art to life.

    Record year, 800 job cuts 🤔

    Activision Blizzard says that -- despite its "record year" -- it's laying off 8% of staff. Last year it had roughly 9,600 employees, which means that 800 people are losing their jobs. Updating here as we learn more:

    This heartbreaking story should also remind you that Wizards makes their own rules. They can also make their own exceptions. WotC it's your game & your program - YOU CAN DO WHAT YOU WANT. You actively hurt your own interests by doing these things. Shame.

    Opinions are fine. Criticism, when constructive, is cool. If I see anyone in my feed attacking any Blizzard employee or really anyone due to words/opinions/actions related to what happened today in a computer game, they will be muted and probably blocked. Don't be a dick. Thanks.

    I've been playing World of Warcraft since December of 2004. I've seen servers do some crazy shit, and you know what? I've never died just because the servers weren't up. If you're upset, that's your right, but don't threaten people working to give you this game.

    hey can you go give all the server engineers and people working their butts off for us some great big hugs? I'm seeing the vocal minority be a bunch of assholes and it sucks please tell them they are loved and appreciated also so are you I'm sorry people are so mean
