I was a fan in the late 60s and early 70s!
He makes it clear that we need to take care of the species that are center stage in each episode but he also wows us with magnificent species like lions, whales, buffalo & sharks. Nuff said.

I've watched 3 of 5 episodes and love this series. The photography is the best. Bertie is fun to listen to and the program is informative. He does bring up challenges we face with species becoming endangered but does not harp on it. 1/2

Had a friend in college that lived on a few acres. His cat was about 35lbs. Would go out in the field and catch a rat. Would bring it in and lift its claw to show off it's prey. Then it would kill and eat it.

We have a "fishing lake" which is a catchment pond. We do see some ducks and great blue herons there.

The neighborhood I live in is new. Now 95% built out. Wildlife now starting to come back. Birds 1st. Saw two red-tailed hawks and a mature bald eagle recently.
