Hey @TeamYouTube please give him a response. And hopefully a way to fix this. People’s lives are being destroyed over this kind of a thing and it can’t stand.https://twitter.com/LazyMasquerade/status/1179098468725530625 …

To be fair, YouTube is the main source of income for many creators. It’s almost volunteering at this point since YouTube can’t back off. Losing views is like having a pay cut. Not completely far fetched so say it’s making lives difficult for people.

I agree, I just like to be the guy on the other side of the fence sometimes and just offer input. I’m not saying this is right, YouTube is a joke as of late, but it also could be a lot worse as far as the destroying lives part.

It's not a competition, dude. The destruction of lives is abstract.

People do this as a career dude...imagine going to work and and your job taking away your paycheck over something slightly high brow and ultimately harmless. Thats pretty much how it is for youtubers

Agree, people should not fully depend on youtube for their income. Instead they should look for other alternative means while still doing youtube part time (which you can treat it like a secondary job).

Just because these people, who rely on these paychecks for their lives and families, have a different career than you doesn't make their problems less valid. If you can't understand that, then go into your job, and let your boss know not to pay you for the foreseeable future.
