This is perhaps the deadliest period for Jews in American history - a period that demands yet another reckoning with the state of the right. Fortunately, I'm certain the press will rise to the occasion with precisely what the moment requires: more columns on Ilhan Omar's tweets.

Just finished reading the shooter’s purported manifesto. The depth of his hate is terrifying. America has a white nationalist domestic terrorism crisis.

“Driver plowed into pedestrians because he thought they were Muslims”. The driver is an Iraq war veteran who on his was to a Bible class. (Can you imagine the media response if it had been Muslim terrorist on his way to a *Quran* class?)

The thing that bugs me about trying to recast Lee as an admirable man in different times is that it removes the heroism from those who bucked the established racist norms, protected the country, and did the right thing. Instead there’s just some fine people on both sides.

Important: notes Mueller’s report suggests strongly that Trump did, in fact, successfully obstruct the investigation by dangling pardons to potential witness, most notably former campaign chairman Paul Manafort

All Mueller had to do is what people in the justice system do every day. Use the law to come to justice. Not be so restricted by technicalities that the bad guys win.

Robert E. Lee owned 200 slaves (which he famously tortured) then led a rebellion to extend slavery which killed 620,000 people. Saying you're not a racist, you just love Robert E. Lee is like saying you're not an antisemite, you just love Hitler.

He said this while standing about 500 feet away from the exact spot where Robert E. Lee declined command of the Union Army and decided to take up arms against his country in defense of slavery

I have an enormous amount of respect for for asking this difficult question. Unfortunately, Biden is not ready for the presidency if he cannot say two simple words. “I’m sorry. I was wrong, and I am so sorry.” Authenticity goes a long way.

We need a fearless leader who is ready to enact huge sweeping changes in this country, and will not lead this country in a direction that is focused on everyday Americans. He will serve the upper class just as Obama , and Bush, and Reagan and all others did before him
