What's up with YouTube mass-demonetizing music channels, @TeamYouTube ?
First @SheetMusicBoss , then @Sully_Orch and now @EDeianamusic .
These are all people who worked incredibly hard, for years, to create transformative content like it's never been seen on the internet before.
sadly the new monetization policy is really bad for some types of content... @GASpriggs might explain this better, but iirc if you upload “similar looking” content with no performance (aka: not showing there’s a “personality” behind) your monetization chances are slim... it sucks

yeah, I've seen a new slate of demonetization threads in the YouTube help forums this weekend. It seems to fit the pattern I had previously noticed: YouTube seems more likely to demonetize channels where the YouTuber isn't visible.

But that's just not smart (or fair). Producing a full-fledged instrumental track on the computer isn't something that you can always perform (on top of writing it). Plus, it might take even more time and effort to do that if we're talking of a full orchestration.
