San Francisco could be the most beautiful city in the United States if it were MERELY kept clean and safe. Imagine! What a novel idea!
Since you know it all- please do tell what your answers are to keep SF beautiful. (Spoiler alert- it is beautiful but some folks probably who don’t care to love it like to trash it. Unlikely they are majority natives)

Outlawing (with strict enforcement) of vagrancy, public camping/takeover of entire sidewalks, public drug use and dealing, defecation/urination, nudity/sex acts etc. Countless other cities do it. SF city officials just don’t want to because it’s “mean” https://twitter.com/sfdeplorable/status/1272936308617273344?s=21 …
Mr. Happy added,
For some reason I can’t read your tweet. I’ve changed my setting to review it but it doesn’t work. Can you give your opinion again in a way that Twitter doesn’t block it? I’m not being sarcastic just want to hear all views.
Probably because I linked to an image from an account that documents things that go on out on the streets of SF that, apparently, are too shocking for Twitter (and yet they’re in broad daylight for everyone, including children, to see).
The pics are likely of Tendeloin District- always been a challenge -at least in my lifetime. But the majority of neighborhoods are quiet, residential and clean. Some near downtown can be really dirty unfortunately. Not always been that way tho.
Not just the Tenderloin, ma’am. Reeking, passed out druggies near me on Bart, crazy people screaming at me when I round a random corner, a homeless man once wandered into the crosswalk of an intersection I was stopped at, dropped a 2x4 with nails sticking out, and walked off.
Yep. But that doesn’t happen often in every neighborhood. Those are very shocking examples of how ppl can become lost. Laws don’t allow a quick or life changing remedy if the person doesn’t consent. If every US town took care of their own SF would be better.
No law by itself does anything. ENFORCEMENT of the laws does. Unfortunately, @chesaboudin and his ilk don’t WANT to enforce the laws. They call the crap that residents are forced to face (sometimes literally) “quality of life” problems.
