Can I just sit at the character selection screen and click every few minutes to not get disconnected or is this flawed? I heard rumors you will disconnect within 30 minutes regardless if you click or create a character.

Found the answer: You get booted after 30 minutes, even if you move your character or create a new one. The best way is to just log in 29 minutes before launch and hope for the best.

ACTUALLY. You may need to log in 2 hours before hand and be placed in a queue. If you are lucky and the queue last 1 hour and 30 minutes you'll be the first to log on. Hnggg, so difficult!
