I’m not sure this is all that abnormal. It’s far more easy to click on a video as one scrolls through twitter than it is to open YouTube and find or happen upon a video. Twitter is remarkably more accessible and that may, in part, explain the disparity.

Also, with retweets and comments, a tweet can be amplified for beyond the limit of just your followers. That same can’t really be said for a YouTube video.
