    An infuriating thread. Some version of this is happening to countless Americans. Fortunately this particular story ends on a positive note.

    I received an email today from a father of 6 working full-time to support his family with one income. This week, he had his car repossessed for owing $1,400. "Without this vehicle I have no way of caring for my family. I need help. I just don’t know what to do," he wrote to me.

    I emailed the lender asking if they have any relief programs to assist this customer. I just heard back. They are working with him to get his car back and the payment was adjusted to $703.
