Some may like this version more. Display is flat on the back, stand is slightly thinner. Imo this looks a bit unbalanced, the bottom half being a lot thicker than the top. The slits in the back have to be there so it can lie flat.

i remember my wallpaper, the colors, the style of the windows and the impressions i got from new animations and features. I also remember that the 2nd build broke the window maximizing animation, its still broken today. Hope sth like this doesn’t happen again

I distinctly remember the first build of Windows 10 many years ago. The second Windows OS i watched mature while it was being developed. (the other being windows 8). Now i’m sitting here downloading #Windows11 . Welcome back feeling of excitement

To everyone who checked their PC with PC Health Check and it said that your PC doesn’t meet the minimum requirements for #Windows11 : Make sure TPM is activated in your BIOS. Could also be called Intel Trusted Technology Platform (TTP). Activate it and your good to go

Every version of every OS is built on the one that came before it. Every version is an iteration, nothing is ever completely new. 11 is built on top of 10(&10X). could be called 10, could also be called 11, it’s just a number, not that hard to understand.

pretty sure it will be 11. Apart from that: all of the reactions to this made it very clear that most people don’t understand a thing about software & that a new number does NOT mean it’s an entirely new OS. it’s just a number lol

Microsoft looks ready to launch Windows 11. All the signs and teasers point to a "new version" of Windows coming later this year. I break down what we might see at the Windows Elevent here: theverge.com/2021/6/3/22466

Beyond me how people at Microsoft think this Design is OK. It's all over the place, they definitely need a ton of lessons on good User Interface Design. Not exactly the best foundation for sun valley *sigh*

Something little in the latest Insider build - if you right click on a local file in one of your taskbar jump lists, there's now an option to open the file location in addition to just open 😊

iOS is becoming more and more like Blackberry 10. The gestures, even this scrubbing (which looked a lot nicer on BB10).

I’ve been using iOS for years but I only just realized you can grab hold of the little dots at the bottom of the Home Screen to quickly move through screens instead of swiping 🤯

Ah yes.... Microsoft
Quote Tweet
Oh dear. Anyone else seeing this on Duo? Latest OS update has introduced a delay when swiping to go home. This didn't happen before; Launcher would already be running in the background as the gesture began, like you'd expect. How on earth did this pass QA?

When do people understand that this is not a "widget" in the Android sense. Don't be fooled by the name, it's much closer to a live tile on windows phone

What a joke. That's what they call "aligning with Microsofts fluent design language ". (Design) execution is still embarrassingly bad at Microsoft
