Wolves took advantage of a schedule win a few weeks ago in a home game vs. Denver, and should again tonight. #Timberwolves

Given the nature of tonight’s B2B (starts at 5 p.m. MT after a 7 p.m. tip last night), I do not expect #Nuggets to have their full complement of guys tonight. Jamal Murray played 36 last night, and Joker, who’s dealing with a nagging hamstring issue, played 34.

God took a good man today, but his pain is gone. Mike had his fingerprints on so many of the #MNTwins moves going back decades. He drove the bus on selecting Joe Mauer No. 1, one example. Was also a great family man.

Just crushed to hear about the death of longtime @Twins scout Mike Radcliff. If there was a more respected or more liked scout in the game, I don't know who it was. Not sure how many hours I spent talking & learning with Mike, but they were many & I enjoyed them all. RIP, Mike.

What a cool night for Jalen. You can just see the joy in his face in the interview time he granted us last night (link below).

Kudos to #Wolves coach Chris Finch and his staff for helping this afternoon. Finch is on their board. Small world: CEO Allison O’Toole and Finch went to college together. Second Harvest Heartland is in need of volunteers and $$, all-encompassing.

If the #Timberwolves avoid the play-in -- think they can even with a very difficult remaining schedule -- let's remember tonight. Not sure anyone saw a win after the 14 point second half deficit. Man, the Wolves play entertaining games!

Kevin confirming our reporting on last night and what and I alluded to on yesterday afternoon. Evero is highly thought of. Heck, if I'm Payton, I want to keep Evero. #Vikings need permission from Denver to interview him.

The reason the Vikings' search for a defensive coordinator has been quiet lately is that, per sources, they're waiting to see if they can get an interview with the Denver Broncos' Ejiro Evero. At the moment, he's a candidate for the head coach job in Indianapolis and Arizona.

Much thanks to for coming into studio tonight for a podcast conversation. I could’ve kept going with him, but he wanted to get back in the gym for some work. Excited to see how much he can help the Wolves in the future. #Timberwolves

I will take the "L" on this. Thought for sure he traveled, opined on that on today. I was wrong. #Timberwolves

Didn't get around to checking until now, but the Last 2 Minute Report says Jaden McDaniels didn't travel on his game-tying 3 at the end of Q4 in last night's Kings-Timberwolves game. "McDaniels (MIN) establishes his left foot as his pivot foot and legally lifts his right foot."

Tonight at 6:50 on : I connected with #MNTwins pitcher Louie Varland at his second job. When time allows, which is less and less because of his main job, he helps Varland Drywall, the family business. Really enjoyed spending time with Louie and his dad Wade. Great family.

One of the most genuinely good dudes, gone way, way too soon. @A_Trow - aka Stump - for those of us that worked at KARE 11, lifted up every room he was in with his laugh and smile. Stump had the biggest heart. I’m so grateful to call you a friend. I love you brotha.

Had a blast watching ex-#Gophers stud C John Michael Schmitz get training in w/ former NFL OL Alex Boone and A.Q. Shipley at . He’ll soon be at the Senior Bowl and Combine. His best quality: He’s unbreakable. Good to also connect again w/ ex-Gopher Sam Schlueter.

Love seeing this. Kudos to Tim and Negah Connelly and Marquise Watts. The Hopkins school district and specifically Glen Lake Elementary are working wonders to make playgrounds accessible for all children. #Timberwolves #Twolves

@Timberwolves Tim & Negah listening to John talk about what this accessible playground means to him. They also stopped at the Compass Classroom and also had a great meeting with some of the students to brainstorm ways to continue fundraising efforts. #PlayForAll @GlenLake270

Good stuff from Chris discovering the comments KAT made on his Twitch account last night. KAT noted it's a Grade-3 calf strain. That typically is a multi-month recovery, can sometimes require surgery. No surgery noted by team. But hence why KAT has been out so long. #Timberwolves

Some takeaways after a Zoom w/ Falvey/Lopez: Pablo will be an A+ add media-wise, #MNTwins have tried to trade for him going back yrs. Falvey noted he can pitch top of rotation for anyone, "has real stuff." 5 man rotation is goal to start. On Salas: "Kid we're really betting on."

After the great offensive effort, surely didn’t have the Wolves going scoreless in the final 2:50. Figured getting stops would continue to be challenging, but thought they’d keep scoring and win. Man. #Timberwolves

The Timberwolves' last five possessions of the game: 1) Missed 3 2) Turnover 3) Missed 3/Shot clock violation 4) Missed layup (wild shot) 5) Missed 3, 3, layup Allowed a 9-0 run to close the game and choke away another win. Inexcusable execution, regardless of personnel.
