What annoys me is that if you're producing historical content, the lack of live baseball gives so much room to shine more light on corners of baseball history that *aren't* well-trodden.

Why not some content on The Toy Cannon, Jim Wynn, a widely forgotten Astros star who passed away very recently?

There are a billion other places to go than a very overexposed, overplaudited player, who so recently played that probably 99.9% of the people watching the content remember when all those things happened live.

I agree, content like that would be much more compelling. Unfortunately, the Jeter marathon will probably get the network better ratings.
