Roger Clemens MVP Baseball and Bo Jackson Baseball wanted you to play with real players but didn't want to pay anybody, so made easily solvable puzzles. Also, they lied about Roger's ERA and let Bo play CF with the White Sox!pic.twitter.com/vVHSXkBy9Q

I had Bo Jackson Baseball on NES as a kid. All I can remember was using the code to make the entire lineup filled up of Bo Jacksons. Also getting into a pickle to get the cut scene of the manager and ump yelling at each other.

Ken Griffey Jr. baseball did the same thing. Real players, *real* appearance, same stats. You could go in and edit the names.

Roger Clemens MVP Baseball was also great because it had a Regular Season feature despite lacking the capability to stop and pick up later on.

Reminds me of the first edition of basbeball mogul where the first vowel of each name was changed according to a consistent transformation, eg, Lonny Dikstra

I remember in Clemens that the right fielder and first baseman for the Oakland team both had the last name of Bash. At least it was that way in the Game Boy version.

Thanks for making my Wednesday morning great! I loved this game and was a massive high school age Red Sox fan at the time. Here’s who they are from my memory:
