Telling incels to stop whining and just put themselves out there more is no different than telling those is extreme poverty to just pull themselves up by their bootstraps
I do see where you’re coming from, and some are like that. But I don’t think it’s always misogyny makes you an incel, I think being an incel can make you a misogynist

Which makes it, at best, a cult and at worst terrorism recruitment. And there’s frustration within any system, but if someone shoots up an office building because they wouldn’t hire the person, we don’t lean back and say 1/2

“well, SOMEONE should’ve taken one for the team and hired that obviously unstable person. I bet they’re a great mail carrier if given the chance.” /2

I agree and I’m totally not saying they should be terrorists and I’m not saying it’s a woman’s responsibility to take one for the team. As a movement it’s bad but there are a lot of young men who feel alienated who don’t necessarily think of themselves as “incel”.

I’m just seeing a lot of attacks on people who already feel very down, yes a select few of them become violent but I think this alienation runs much deeper than people realize and the violent portion is a very small percent.
