Minds appear to work much more like FPGAs than CPUs, but that analogy tends to not work too well because far fewer people know how FPGAs work.

Minds are like recent technology. Today they are computers. 100 years ago minds were moving pictures, & before that daguerreotypes. Previously minds were books, scrolls & cave paintings. We don't know what minds will be next century bc we have not developed that analogue yet.
