tempting to dull someone’s shine with a cutting comment, wincing look, or even just withholding a cheer because we struggle to know how to spark our own light of joy. . The irony of it all is that because of mirror neurons, our brains don’t see a distinction between others and

and ourselves. The way we think of and treat other people is in direct proportion to how we are with ourselves so actually when we lift others up, we can soar too. . Do this one trick today: Think of someone you feel intimidated by and send them a message of how they inspire you.

I don’t care if you have to fake your way through the whole damn thing because by the time you send it, you will actually feel yourself unclench and become stronger. So go head, build someone up and give yourself license to take flight too. There’s enough air space for everyone.
