    We don't have a democracy in this country, but I'd rather have tons of people vote for Green Party than stay home.. If I don't get someone I, as a proud Leftist, can vote FOR, instead of just voting AGAINST the GOP, wonder if we could signal FOR a Third US Party..

    Nothing that I can remember has damaged faith and credibility in US democracy like what happened in the Iowa Democratic Party caucus.

    You don't accidentally give Bernie's support to Steyer or Deval Patrick. That's not a thing that happens. It was definitely intentional & we need every single county supervisor to independently release their vote totals right now. How do we know they didn't do this every county?!

    Initially wasn’t inclined to believe the Iowa dem party deliberately sabotaged numbers to sandbag . But day 3, the party is still at 71% results? WTF? This is moving well past “innocent mistakes with the app” and into something deliberate + disgusting.

    30% of the vote still missing and I guess the plan is to just wait and see if people will eventually forget about that and move on assuming Mayor Pete won. This is the stuff of banana republics.

    It is insane that 62% of the vote has been released, the press is effectively declaring Pete Buttigieg the winner, and there is absolutely no indication about when the rest of the vote total will be released. Hope angry crowds are prepared to gather if this goes on longer.

    In my experience, if someone seems to be totally incompetent but every oopsie they make just happens to end up benefiting them, it's manipulation you're dealing with, not incompetence. Some people are happy to look dumb if they can get what they want. Watch actions, ignore words.

    Funny how the DNC's so called "incompentency or unintended oversight" almost ALWAYS inadvertently shows up when it disenfranchises or disadvantages an anti-establishment candidate like Bernie, Tulsi, Yang, Williamson. Rest of the time, all goes smoothly.

    It's a perfectly reasonable question to ask whether party elites can be trusted to be fair in presiding over an election where the question on the ballot is "should party elites be overthrown"? Only willful ignorance of basic human psychology makes you think this is absurd.

    You do not have to be a "conspiracy theorist" to consider whether the suppression of the final poll and the failure to report vote totals could be related to Bernie's success and the collapse of Biden. All you have to do is understand things from the perspective of party elites.

    The is a disaster for the Democratic Party. The Republican Primary ended smoothly, and results were in by 9 PM EST. We are into the next day and still no results for the Dems. This only decreases trust in the elctoral system which is on the whole a good thing.
