I am deeply grateful to the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences for awarding Michael Hall and I the 2020 Sjöberg Prize. It is a great honor that recognizes the strides made by our lab members in discovering mTOR and its role in growth control.

PubPeer may have had a role at some point, but as far as I can tell, is now a platform for resentful, anonymous, petty, failed scientists to harass those who actually make discoveries and occasionally make mistakes because they are human.

When a PubPeer troll starts to harass you on Twitter over a minor mistake in a 10 yo paper: (1) Block the steaming turd immediately. (2) Post corrected figure on PubPeer. (3) Contact journal to ask what they would like you to do.
