Knowing all of this, @RobertWRuncie and particularly @browardsheriff Israel walked onto the CNN townhall stage and lied to grieving parents to cover their own culpability while blaming millions of innocent gun owners. I dare Sheriff Israel to publicly try to blame me again.

What's the promise program
There ... reportedly ... was a high school to prison pipeline in Broward County. The promise program looked the other way on criminal behavior for HS students, so they could show a reduced arrest rate and the students would not have a record.
A lower crime rate would allow the school system to get more Federal funds. Always follow the money!
And it did ... that's why they implemented it.
