There shouldn't be a such thing as a rich politician. That's called #corruption; it's as simple as that. There should be a strictly enforced maximum income on politicians based on tier and length of service. If they exceed that, they are disqualified from running again.

You do realize that this country was founded by a small group of rich white (slave owning) men who didn’t want to pay their taxes, right? It’s literally baked into our foundation.
