I do know that. Founder of the American Socialist Party at that. You already know I am a socialist as well. This is not a socialist nation, but we have key socialist components, such as Social Security and others. It's an ideology that guides my decisions.

Socialism is an ideological tree with many branches. If by true Socialism, you mean Authoritarian Socialism, there's even a few of those, too. I don't subscribe to authoritarian socialism. American Debsian (Democratic) Socialism is Libertarian Left on the political compass.
