The line that irritates me the most about voicing disapproval about the Biden ticket / encouragement of 3rd party voters is that the hardcore liberals call it privilege. Now, I do my best not to have white guy blinders, but it's difficult to see that. What's the counter argument?
I don’t think you need a counter argument: they aren’t arguing against you, they’re just labeling you so that they don’t have to take your words seriously. Unless you got a lot of patience it’s not worth it to engage
Fair point, and I do look to engage, it causes unnecessary voter division on the left. “Privilege” used haphazardly also diminishes the concept. Those people who are victims of shaming and labeling are likely pushed away from voting, or worse - to the conservative side.
The ‘privilege’ tag has been getting thrown around a lot these year, the most overused, prostituted word of them all.
