I have a few Libertarian and Republican friends. We usually avoid politics because we know how each other rolls. But when we do talk politics, we try to find middle ground. Communication and sincerity are key to finding that ground. It's possible.
Sometimes, I think that I am unique in that I am a Socialist who actually gets along well with Libertarians and Republicans. I suspect it’s because I give them the love and respect they deserve. We don’t agree on a fair amount of stuff, but we don’t have to.
