When Democrats ran a candidate for hope, progress, and change (Barack Obama), people came out in droves to vote. Those concepts work, but somewhere along the line they decided to throw them in the garbage can.

Establishment Democrats look for anyone to blame for their own failures, except themselves. They probably are the leading reason why there are non-voters, independents, 3rd party supporters, and so on.
