    The old "I'm a fiscal conservative/social liberal" template needs an update, esp since so much politics is tech-adjacent. I'd learn so much more about somebody's worldview is they described themselves as: "fiscally lib/con, socially lib/con, technologically optimistic/skeptical"

    I'm more toward (2) than (1), but I think it's fair to argue that sequelization (on top of the streaming rev) unwittingly trained audiences to reserve their 3-4 tix per year for lavishly produced/marketed + relatively well reviewed installments—and catch everything else at home
