Try signing out & back in to your channel. If it doesn't work, try restarting your TV. Also, make sure that your internet connection is stable. Let us know if it works.

I switched the tv off and started again which did the job. The main gripe I have is that youtube is the only one that does this.

I was going to try that but I shouldn't need to if I can watch it on my TV with linking anything.
