They(men, white men, black men, someone in power, etc...) always want to shut us (black women, white women, someone they believe don’t have power) up! Thanks for continuing to clarify what you saw and heard.

I recognize the need to continually work on changing destructive male attitudes about power, particularly with Women of Color. I'm also a Black Man who white folks have wanted to shut up, including white women, who need to work on destructive white attitudes about power.
