If we're actually gonna have a public conversation about 'incels' I should probably make a couple points.

2) most men who struggle with women aren't turning to violence. We shouldn't generalize based on two guys who obviously had serious mental health issues to begin with, independently of their sexual frustrations.

Agree, though if you move from "sex" to "relationships" it's more sensible. Many people define themselves by their romantic relationships; defining yourself by the lack thereof isn't healthy, but isn't all that different.
