I wondered why for a couple of days, then realized that she is probably doing the same thing. I guess that I am fortunate enough to still have a job, but even if I didn't, I would still question the ethics of drawing a salary - especially such a large one - from my campaign.
Good article. I learned something. But I am not exactly sure how I feel about it.
I've encountered a lot of people who feel the same way. My personal take is that campaign donations should be restricted to campaign use, and not used for personal gain, but I appear to be (again) in the minority with that opinion.
