(1/3) So, as per the usual during an election year, we hear about celebrities who have vowed to leave the country if their chosen candidate is not elected in November. Oddly enough, I have yet to hear of any one of them who has actually followed up on that threat. #IdleThreats

(2/3) But one of these people pointed out that, in her conversations with others, she hadn't heard one competent argument against her chosen candidate. This started me thinking. Did she (like most people) choose her candidate simply because they weren't the other candidate?

(3/3) Shouldn't we be basing our choices on how closely the candidate's positions align with ours on the issues that matter most to us? Or, more to the point, on who the candidate IS instead of who the candidate IS NOT? It's your vote. Make them EARN it. #ThinkBeyondTheBinary
