I will need more time to discuss this with the help of a distinction, eg, between SENSE (making) and MEANING (detecting). Then i will have something clear enough to be discussed and perhaps refuted.

I don't know if a refutation is necessary, but a question about how or whether the worldview affords connection to reality (discovering meaning) versus optimizing cognitive machinery (making meaning) would provide interesting insight.
