The Interminability Of Gain And Losshttp://andrewjtaggart.com/2019/11/22/the-interminability-of-gain-and-loss/ …
I'd love to read about how you're relating to Buddhism here. Are you primarily giving credit? Are you relying on the reader's knowledge about Buddhism (increasing the efficiency of your communication)? Or are you saying something that couldn't be said without evoking Buddhism?

First, many posts begin as further reflections on a recent philosophical conversation; they spring from that context. Second, I am giving credit but not sure if "primarily." Third, I'm using Buddhism here to provide me with a premise. /1

Fourth, I'm relying on the "weight of a tradition": that is, evidently Buddhists have thought about this matter a good deal. (Aristotle thought it was good to begin a philosophical investigation with the opinions of those who'd thought long and hard about it.) /2
