Brexit is damaging enough. Any move by Mr Johnson to undermine the Withdrawal Agreement would have painful implications for the UK's global reputation & do great damage to EU & UK citizens alike. I hope he will recommit to the obligations he has made under international law. 🇪🇺🇬🇧

I trust the British government to implement the Withdrawal Agreement, an obligation under international law & prerequisite for any future partnership. Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland is essential to protect peace and stability on the island & integrity of the single market.

I like what he says but can we believe that words will become action and truly support community pharmacy as an asset of primary care.

The consequence of Johnson’s latest desperate manoeuvre would be a hard border in Ireland and a fundamental breach of the Good Friday Agreement - an act of reckless irresponsibility without precedent in modern British government

52% of us voted for £350m a week for the NHS, to save payments to the EU, and the easiest deal in history. The £350m never arrived, so NHS is short £74bn. The cost of Brexit so far is larger than our entire 47 year EU payments. The deal is dead. And just 34% still want Brexit.

Johnson sold Brexit to the public on the promise of an "oven ready deal", but all we see is a recipe for chaos. Unsurprising a huge majority of British want to rejoin & support for the EU grows across 🇪🇺

Just seen this - cracking up laughing. Pre covid, pre Japan World Cup. Love rugby - but it can be rough. Stays on the pitch and then go for a beer afterwards.

What’s your scientific pet peeve? Mine: when “there is no evidence” is used to mean “no rigorous studies prove.” The funniest example I’ve seen: “there is no evidence polyamorous partnerships exist.” Of course, by that standard, there is also “no evidence” that YOU exist.

Every so often I think about Brexit, and each time I do I realise again that there is nothing about it that's good. Every single thing about it is bad, destructive, poisonous, and beneficial only to enemies like Putin and Trump and traitors like Johnson.

The head of the United States Food and Drug Administration (!) does not understand the difference between relative and absolute risk reduction -- a basic, fundamental concept in medicine, statistics and clinical trial interpretation. It just gets worse and worse.😢
