i checked this morning and there are ads breaks on the video now. so they are making money off it which is fine, BUT this same video was denied monetization 4 times. It does not make sense.

Because YouTube will always cater to the companies and NOT the creators. We need a newer, better platform like the original YouTube..BEFORE Google bought it and turned it into a haven of favoritism for bullying, lies and NO money for creators.

Wait. Since the video has a sponsor does that sponsorship money go to whoever copyright claimed it or does the money from sponsorship still go to you Repzion? That's one thing that confuses me about ads and copyright claims.

Sponsorships are not mediated by YT. They are between the creator and the sponsor. Ads run by YT generate revenue for whoever has the monetization rights (in this case the claimant).
