Welcome to Term 3! We're at the halfway point of SY22-23. Over the past 5 months:  📈 Enrollment passed 50k 📚 DCPS continued to make national strides in literacy 💡DC+XQ introduced a bold new approach to high school & so much more! The power of this community is unstoppable.

Today, DCPS’ LGBTQ+ community is gathered at for the 12th annual “Leading With Pride.” Students are participating in workshops on a range of subjects — from being a good ally to healthcare access for GNC youth. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

BIG NEWS: DC Public Schools just received a $2.5 million grant to expand the @DCPSConnected model to @TurnerRocketsDC and @HendleyES through 2027. This funding will allow robust after school programming, mental health services, and tutoring, among other community-based resources.
