*PHOTOS* Multiple firearms and a large quantity of ammo were recovered inside the fifth floor apartment where the suspect was found deceased.
We facilitate daily peaceful demonstrations in DC. Overnight, intentional fires were set & property destroyed. When this occurs, our members have a responsibility to take action.
At this time, 41 individuals were arrested for Felony Rioting & Assault on Police Officer offenses.

It is with a heavy heart that the Metropolitan Police Department announces the passing of Senior Police Officer Keith Williams. Officer Williams had over 31 years of service with MPD and will be greatly missed.
It appears his passing was due to COVID-19 related complications.

*Update* As a result of the Carjacking Task Force detectives' investigation, "Pablo" the dog has been recovered from a residence in NE. Several arrests have been made as a result. Efforts are being made to locate the second dog, "Bruno". This is still an active investigation.

Tragically, 4 individuals lost their lives yesterday:
35 y/o Ashli Babbitt of Huntington, MD died of a gunshot wound.
34 y/o Rosanne Boyland of Kennesaw, GA; 55 y/o Kevin Greeson of Athens, AL; and 50 y/o Benjamin Phillips of Ringtown, PA all suffered medical emergencies.
