Spent my morning carefully crafting btc txs to rescue the THING from an address hacked over 7 years ago! Wasn't sure if the bots were watching and didn't want to take any chances... they were there, but I was too fast! The THING (minted April 7, 2014) is now secure. #NFT

10/ Spells of Genesis by . 2015. One of if not the first attempt at releasing game assets/cards on blockchain. (Counterparty). They also released Bitcrystals, their in game currency!

11/ Etheria. Probably the first true NFTs issued on Ethereum. . 2015. Demo'd at Devcon 1. You can own "tiles", (virtual land), and build things on your land. A very cool early experiment.

14/ ENS Domains: Launched May 4th 2017. Open source decentralized Internet naming protocol. Similar to DNS. People can use their .eth names as a replacement to their ethereum address.

15/ Curio Cards: . May 2017. One of, if not THE first Art project on Ethereum. 30 Cards/Art pieces with different rarities released as an art show. A recent 100 ETH sale happened a couple days ago as people are rediscovering them.

17: Mooncat Rescue. Another collectible project where you could mint/rescue cats with different traits and colors. Some were minted in 2017, then slowly forgotten about till there was a re-emergence of history in early 2021. Then the rest got minted.

18. After this we had, - Cryptokitties break the internet - Decentraland sell Virtual land for ~$20M total in December, - Some more experiments with Cryptocats, Ether rocks, etc.

19. I'm pretty confident more will be discovered. I'd LOVE for you guys to add anything I've missed. Wanted to bring to light what transpired during the early days of blockchain and NFTs/art/games/collectibles. The beauty of blockchain is things are never forgotten.
