Mary Corrigan, mother of Keith McGrath, one of the 97 people unlawfully killed at Hillsborough, has passed away.
At the new inquests in 2014 she said her son was "the shining star of my life."
Loving Mum, stalwart fighter for justice.

10 years ago I met a disabled little boy in a respite children’s home in Leicester. Only it wasn’t a respite for him, it was his home and he’d lived there for 3 years. His foster mum who he’d lived from birth died suddenly when he was 3 and he never ate or drank again. 🧵

Ooh finally, an opportunity to promote *my* book:
It contains a section about the "new world order", a long-standing right-wing conspiracy theory concerning a mysterious elite who want to replace democracy with transnational governance.

"The New Elite have long pushed for a new world order in which democracy is replaced by 'transnational governance' – a new system, led by highly educated technocrats who see domestic politics, the masses, national democracy as an unnecessary hindrance"

IF we beat Yeovil, they'll be relegated. I hope that we'll be classy enough to avoid the "going down" chants etc. Make it all about us. But applaud those visiting fans. I was at Lincoln in our last League 2 game. They applauded us and wished us well. #WxmAFC

It’s actually a commendable effort to simultaneously misunderstand the role of the CPS, the job of the DPP, the function of a jury, the impact of guilty pleas, the difference in status between allegation, charge and conviction and to deliver that ignorance in just 16 words.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
As Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Keir Starmer led the Crown Prosecution Service which decides which cases should be prosecuted and prepares cases and presents them at court. It is for judges to sentence offenders and determine convictions, not the DPP.
