I love that Dawn Foster appears to think that Roger Scruton is Katie Hopkins with a knighthood. When did knowing what you’re talking about go so completely out of fashion? @BBCr4today

Dawn Foster wouldn't have got where she is today if knowing what you're talking about was a requirement for advancement.

But isn’t Scruton Katie Hopkins with a knighthood, though?

Well, Katie Hopkins with a PhD, to be fair.

I think in t'olden days there was a greater fear of getting it wrong, or rather, being seen to spout crap and show yourself up. Today no one cares for some odd reason.

Hi David. What qualifications does Scruton have in the field of housing?

Hi David, does Roger Scruton know what he’s talking about, or is date rape a crime? It can’t be both chief

"Chief"? Is this your Minder impression? To your question: I think Scruton is completely wrong on that as he is on almost everything. Whether he'd make a good chair of this commission, I have no idea.

What does he know about housing. He’s a ultra conservative culture warrior whose ideas on architecture went out with the ark. It’s purely jobs for the boys. Have you seen his comments on Soros and ‘Jewish networks’.

        Scruton is an Anti-Semitic, racist, homophobe. Here's the Anti-Semitism: http://hungarianfreepress.com/2017/12/01/sir-roger-scruton-hungarys-jewish-intelligentsia-and-the-soros-network/ …pic.twitter.com/NzEl4Ncis0
