The 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office would like to remind everyone to look out for "spoofing" scams that can put your personal and financial information at risk. Can you spot the warning signs and red flags? We've posted some helpful tips below:

Kyree Brown was sentenced today to two consecutive life sentences for murdering a couple who responded to an ad to purchase a car back in 2020. Jossline and Joseph Roland leave behind five children who were 17, 12, 10, 8 & 4 at the time of this double-homicide.

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Our Office is partnering with the State of Colorado & surrounding municipalities to raise awareness and let victims know that help is available. You can report human trafficking by calling 866-455-5075.

It’s sickening that the LGBTQ+ community and all of our society must endure yet another mass shooting. Our hearts go out to Colorado Springs and and all who live in fear and pain today because of this nightmare.

We'd like to extend our deepest sympathies to the multiple victims injured and killed in a mass shooting at Club Q, a nightclub that supports the LGBTQ community in Colorado Springs. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone impacted by this senseless act of violence.

Our Office is committed to ending #DomesticViolence. The Crisis Center partnered with Vehicle Vault in Parker Friday for their 15th annual Future for Families Gala. The event raises $$ to ensure life-saving programs & services offered by The Crisis Center remain free.

#APDAlert: Officers are on scene of a shooting w/ 4 victims in a house near 900 of N. Geneva St. The male suspect is believed to be in the area & reverse 911 has been sent to those nearby. Multiple officers are in the area searching. Call 911 to report anything suspicious.

#Aurora held its annual Veterans Salute Thursday to honor those who have served our country. The formal ceremony also celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Air Force. DA John Kellner was honored to speak with local #veterans and hear their stories.
