The African Development Bank suggests that Africa’s infrastructure requirements will cost between US$130 billion and US$170 billion a year. We need to foster partnerships not only among us as African countries but also with our Commonwealth partners to meet this funding need.

Aren’t the ‘commonwealth partners’ the exact WMC your party and the EFF blame for the state of our country? Seems a bit hypocritical sir.

So what do we do then? Infrastructure development & maintenance. Allow mobility (transit & "intelligent" transport systems) to be informed by land use classifications affecting development.

That way you are able to plan for growth, social amenities & infrastructure development. It is an idea that can be turned into a plan. Rapid urbanisation is a reality Mr. President. Let's think outside the box. Proactive & not reactive.

Successfully countering that makes it a delightfully attractive option for investment. It can be done. It should be done. Think about it.

We need much more funding since we have to play catch _ up on infrastructure we needed when we were just 45mik when we are already pass 65mil people in this country towards 80mil in 10yrs. Huge mismatch towards water supply to all corners of our dry country.
