By partnering with the private sector, we are seeking to ensure that training in TVET colleges is suited to the requirements of the companies that seek these skills and that TVET college graduates are more easily able to find positions in these companies.

Mr President, we need to create a tech sector, similiar to that in the US. We can create our own Silicone Valley on the Cape Flats or Soweto. Help us achieve this.

You must thread carefully my President, 1. The word "private" is usually associated with Capitalism. 2. You promised us Jobs not internships, you've been reshuffling leaders, we hope you have something up your sleeves. All in all we hope we won't see more Job losses ...

Absolutely! That’s well said Mr.President.individuals should trust what TVET is capable of doing; it has transformed economies elsewhere.

Then you need to find a way to allow companies within localities of TVETs to inform curricula they offer. Demand should be driven by employers in localised form, not the current national SSPs, SSPs have roles but not for TVETs delivery systems, which is meant to be local.
