SMMEs are the backbones of many economies around the world. Our past ensure that SMMEs were suppressed. We are determined to open pathways for SMMEs & we are working to ensure that we strengthen incubation hubs to strengthen township business with access to skills and markets.

We need to revitalize the township economy but unfortunately the Pakistanis, Somalis and Bangladesh has taken over our township economy ...

It's our fault, we neglected that economy on our own as people, not as govt and those that did own spazas ran them inefficiently and unprofessionally...even now we can still cooperate and compete with Somalis and win but there is no drive or hunger from our entitled people

Dont forget that those people have their own 1 for all manufacturers how do we balance scales if we buy from wholesalers and they make their own products hence their affordable prices ?

Im no expert but those guys cooperate a lot rather than compete amonsgt themselves and usually have central bulk purchases which are then distributed- that's not impossible for us either. As for products they manufactures themselves, Im not sure which are those or if they legal

They manufacture counterfeit goods, cops recently shut down a 75 million rand factory where they were manufacturing branded household goods. Can't compete with that if you're ordering from legit producers.

Suspected that, saw on news...hope cops are on to it. Those guys, despite them being very religious, do not always subscribe to ethical behavior & hygiene standards when it comes to their business operations...this should not be a threat but an opportunity for black spaza owners

It's a threat in the sense that it's probably not the only such operation hence they have cheaper means of production therefore cheaper prices and knowing the poverty in our townships, it's understandable that people will opt to buy their fake goods. Law needs to be enforced

Its the same law that allowed this to happen in the first place a business can not grow to that value without anyone noticing something we need to sit down and find ways we can fight poverty together and sometimes amongst each other not this one man for himself or his friends bs

SMMEs are suffocated by corrupt officials in partnership with corrupt politicians. This is a fact not a rumor Mr President.

Please tell your entities to pay us on time! We are suffering as SMMEs in SA! Your employees get their monthly salaries, and we have to beg to get paid for services rendered @lupingcayisa @GautengProvince We are being sent from pillar to post and it’s not FAIR!❗️❗️❗️❗️
