If you were Governor, what would the income tax surcharge be for households in New York, at all of the existing tax brackets, to pay for the NY Health Act? The bill doesn't even have actual numbers. Have you even thought about this?

Your bill is all lip service without funding. You keep equating single payer to Medicare even though Medicare recipients use private/public mix and can use private hospitals and clinics. Ergo, it’s not really “single payer”. Hashtags w/o price tags are not policies.

You mistake 'Single Payer' for 'Single Provider'... An HMO is single provider, All Single Payer does is have one source to write checks.
