From “Pop-Up” to permanent! Kudos to Boston — the new separated bike lanes circling Boston Common & the Public Garden that were put up during the pandemic this summer, will become permanent this fall.

There are now 87 schools with multiple infections among their population. That’s 10.2% of total schools. You might remember I said it was a good idea to keep an eye on that percentage score which last week was 6%.

Repeat after me — the street isn’t “closed.” It’s open to even more. It’s open to people because it’s closed to big motor vehicles. Language is important. Via in .

So NHS doctors are waiting up to 4 days to get COVID tests, driving 500 miles round trips to testing centres, & waiting 5 days to get the results. Sheer, inexcusable madness. How exactly can we keep people safe if we can't even get tested, ?

So R is now 1.7. Cases are doubling every 8 days. And doctors are unable to work in their NHS hospitals because they can’t even access a Covid test. The pandemic was declared 6 months ago today - and this government’s ineptitude is breathtaking.

Boris doesn’t know what he’s doing, and now even his most diehard supporters are beginning to realise it. Britain needs a proper leader in this crisis not a blathering buffoon.
