It's like regions that has 2 slots for majors gets 2 slots for minors except for SA, and regions with 3 slots for major has 1 slot for minors so all regions except SA has flat 4 spots for 1 minor/major cycle. I think it is rule for this season

Whatever the case is, the teams in Europe are getting kneecapped because of region strength disparity.

Well, in fairness, I'd put good money on there being four European teams at the Major in the end. Not the point you're making I know, but still a likely outcome

The problem here is the following: Europe has Secret, Alliance, Liquid, Nigma, OG. Only 3 of those can qualify for the major. Only 1 for the Minor. And one of the undoubtedly 10 best teams in the world can't even compete. That is plain madness. Not even mentioning NIP/Singularity
