Requested a ballot by mail and waited as long as I could (this afternoon) for it to arrive. When it didn’t, went in person. Guessing many others were in the same boat.

I also thought Newsham said the voting exception was for 8pm sharp. So being in line and then getting home is an added layer.
-
my understanding was that the voting exception included getting back after voting—that's what D.C. BOE is sayinghttps://twitter.com/Vote4DC/status/1267941057087574018 …

I just posted a video from Emery. That time is deeply wrong. Folks were reporting 2-3 hours and the line is three blocks long.

Sherwood is well over 90 min. Two hours myself and the line is now 2x as long. But everyone is very patient and friendly!

I left Raymond Rec Center around 6:20 after waiting 2 hrs. Counted 150+ in line, guessing it’s a 2.5+ hr wait there. People won’t be done til 9 or later.

The line at McKinley Tech is wrapped around T and all the way down 2nd.
