      #Israel bombed the al-Shayrat Air Base in #Syria just now - tried to anyway ... this is not just important to defend places like Palmyra ... it is also of importance to Russia's air force for refueling and rearming ... a clear attack against #Russia's effort to fight terrorism.

      #Israel also targeted Dumayr Airport. Here too are Russian soldiers present ... in this case even important officers that negotiate with #Syria's rebels ... this reckless (!) act is only possible because TRUMP's #USA and its 3 allies bank on #Russia's inherent desire for peace.

      BTW: for years I consistently reject theories that put Israel in the driving seat - be it TRUMP's Syria war or anything before. To blame Israel for wars in the ME is IMO simply informed by latent anti-semitism. In reality the USA has a strong interest to keep conflict on the boil
