greeks in usa were notorious for supporting military dictatorship in greece. diaspora populations everywhere put their adopted country first. jews are no exception because israel is only a notional homeland for them.

Ex-pats lose touch with the issues. Vast majority of Greeks I know support Grexit, but based on ex-pat Scots and English conservative views on Indyref and Brexit, I would lay money that Greek NZers would oppose Grexit.
