      Speaking at a panel on the #WhiteHelmets at the @genevapressclub, Richard Labevière touches on a very sensitive subject concerning war reporting in today's cash strapped media: little presence on the ground and reliance on activists.

      In the late 70s, when Labevière was interning at Le Monde, he said the journal had 200 full time foreign reporters, now they are 15. Labevière concludes that the press is now relying on acitvists to report wars, therefore mutating into an activist and a partisan press.
